Every year, Hunts Kart Racing Club hosts the three-day Kimbolton Festival -- three days of an extended Club Round, plus the prestigious K Plate for the Final Winners, and this year, incorporating the TKM O Plate.
Highlight of the Saturday, is the traditional Trolley Race around the kilometre-long circuit, followed by the Hog Roast. Teams of four pushers take turns around a section of the circuit and inside each trolley, there has to be a small (and brave) "driver" whose crucial job is to remain seated in the unstable trolley, and not get thrown out!
Its tremendous fun and this year saw a record number of entrants, with prizes going to the first team around and for the best dressed outfit -- there were some amazing ones!
