Here's a "Special" for you! It's a long month with quite a long stretch from one kart meeting to another, so I was delighted to have the opportunity to go along to Red Lodge on Tuesday for the Owner/Driver Test Day. There were only 25 karts booked in but what we missed in numbers, we certainly made up for in quality. There was plenty of space and time for everyone, and a lot of useful testing was done. The weather was absolutely brilliant too -- possibly the last real day of Summer!
I took full advantage of the day and used it to do a bit of testing for myself -- finding new angles, using different lenses, refining techniques, even did a little videoing -- all the sort of risks you daren't take at a meeting in case they don't work out: you can only allow so many fails in a day!
I'm glad that most of them came good and you can see them all in the galleries below -- not only in the usual colour but experimentally in arty black and white (greyscale) and super-popped HDR (high definition range). I hope you like them too, and it you do, we'll do more of them on a regular basis.
